As part of the Heritage project, we held a Heritage Festival and invited everyone to be involved. Local people created bakes and makes inspired by the church. We wrote messages on the backs of the new slate tiles which are now up on the roof. This is a building tradition, and we hope our messages may be discovered by future generations!
There was a guided tour around the scaffolding by architect Roderick Maclennan, who led the restoration. We also held a lunchtime community conversation at the Art Workers' Guild.
